Riots erupt in east Jerusalem's Shuafat refugee camp

Residents of east Jerusalem's Shuafat took to the streets of the refugee camp on Wednesday to protest against Israeli security forces, amid heightened tensions in the capital. They threw stones at Border Police officers patrolling the area, who in turn, sprayed tear gas and dispersed the crowd, of mostly youths.
Over 100 teenagers burned tires and blocked off the main entrance road to Shuafat, as young children took part in the protest.
