Rivlin wishes Abbas a happy Eid al-Adha

President Reuven Rivlin on Thursday called Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to wish him a happy holiday on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, according to the official PA news site Wafa.
Eid al-Adha is the second of two, major Muslim festivals which take place annually.
Abbas told Rivlin that he hopes “the Palestinian and Israeli people will enjoy safety and security,” Wafa reported.
The last time it was known that the two presidents spoke was at late President Shimon Peres’s funeral in late September.
