Roads to close in Tel Aviv Saturday for LGBT event

A number of roads throughout Tel Aviv will be closed the evening of Saturday, August 11 for a march and commemoration event marking nine years since a shooting at a gay bar in 2009 where two were killed and at least 15 others were wounded.
Starting at 7:00 p.m. and continuing until 11:00 p.m. the following roads will be closed: Rotshschild Boulevard between Allenby and Habima square, Marmorek Street, and Ben Zion Boulevard from King George to Rothschild. The entrance to Tarsat Boulevard through Dizengoff Street will be blocked off as well.
The march will proceed through the Rothschild/Nahmani intersection towards Habima square. All roads along its path will also be blocked to traffic.
