A red siren alert was activated in central Israel in the early hours of Thursday morning, sending residents of the city of Bat Yam to safety shelters and warning of incoming rockets.
The IDF Spokesperson's Unit confirmed that an alarm was activated in several cities across central Israel, including south Tel Aviv, Jaffa, Holon and Bat Yam.
