Terrorism has become globalized, says Rouhani

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani addressed the General Debate of the 69th UN General Assembly on Wednesday.
The Iranian president opened his remarks by talking about the Middle East, "a region of the world whose many parts are currently burning in the fire of extremism and radicalism."
He said that his neighboring countries, both to the East and West, have resorted to violence and blood shed.
The fighters, who come to the region from across the world have given rise to Islamophobia, leading to the "intervention of foreign forces in our region”
"I deeply regret to say that terrorism has become globalized, he said. "From New York to Mosul, from Damascus to Baghdad...from al-Qaida to Islamic State."
