Rubinstein: Respect High Court decision on party broadcasts

Central Elections Committee chairman Justice Elyakim Rubinstein on Sunday said we must respect the High Court of Justice's decision to allow certain parts of Strong Israel and Balad's controversial election campaign broadcasts.

Rubinstein said one must respect the decision, even though he believes the broadcasts contain racist messages which have no place in the Jewish state.

The High Court last Tuesday accepted a petition filed by Strong Israel and Balad, overruling the Central Elections Committee decision to ban certain parts of each parties’ election campaign broadcasts.
