Rubinstein sworn in as deputy chief of high court, Baron as justice

Elyakim Rubinstein was sworn in on Wednesday by President Reuven Rivlin as deputy Supreme Court president and Anat Baron was sworn in to replace just-retired Asher D. Grunis as the court’s newest justice.
Grunis’s successor as Supreme Court president, Miriam Naor, showered both justices with praises.
She called Rubinstein the embodiment of balancing the state’s Jewish and democratic values and recounted many personal connections between them. She complimented Baron on her written decisions and welcomed her to the “Supreme Court family.”
