Russia distrusts US Patriot missile deployment in Poland

The Russian government expressed it displeasure Wednesday regarding the arrival a battery of Patriot missiles and dozens of American soldiers in eastern Poland earlier in the week.
"Such military activity does not help to strengthen our mutual security, to develop relations of trust and predictability in this region," a Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman was quoted by Reuters as saying.
The American soldiers have arrived in Poland on a two-year training mission to teach the Polish military to operate the advanced Patriot guided missile system at a base close to the Russian border.
