Russia on Wednesday said its position on Iran will depend on its readiness to work with the UN nuclear watchdog.
A spokeswoman for Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said that Moscow expects Iran to cooperate with the International Atomic Energy Agency.
Medvedev spokeswoman Nataliya Timakova also said that Russia's stance on the issue will depend on the outcome of the talks between Iran and representatives of the US, Britain, France, Russia, Germany and China. The talks begin Thursday in Geneva.
