Education Minister Gideon Sa'ar told Israel Radio on Monday that Israel is close to initiating a major ground operation in the Gaza Strip to put an end to Palestinian rocket fire."We are preparing for a major operation," he said, adding that Israel is taking steps diplomatically to prepare for such a contingency.
