Saudi foreign minister: CIA Khashoggi assessment has "no basis in truth"

Saudi Arabia's foreign minister, asked about media reports that the CIA believes the crown prince ordered the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, said such claims "have no basis in truth and we totally reject them."
In an interview published on Tuesday, Adel al-Jubeir also said that Ankara had reassured Riyadh that when President Tayyip Erdogan said the killing was ordered at the highest level of the Saudi leadership, "the crown prince was not the intended (target) of these comments."
The remarks were published in the Saudi-owned Al Sharq Al Awsat newspaper.
