Search underway after contact lost with a swimmer in Ashdod

By JERUSALEM POST STAFF
Israel Police announced it launched a search on Friday evening in an attempt to locate a man who was last seen swimming near Lido Beach in Ashdod.
The man allegedly entered the sea with another man who nearly drowned, but managed to save himself.
Maritime police forces, a police chopper and IDF Navy forces are scanning the area.
This is a developing story.
