Malik Bendjelloul’s Searching for Sugar Man won the category of Best Documentary at the Oscars on Sunday night, defeating Israeli documentaries 5 Broken Cameras and The Gatekeepers.5 Broken Cameras by Palestinian filmmaker Emad Burnat and Israeli filmmaker Guy Davidi made the cut to the final five along with The Gatekeepers by Israeli filmmaker Dror Moreh.
