Second case of locally contracted swine flu confirmed in Israel

An additional case of swine flu has been confirmed in Israel on Monday. The 26th case of the virus in Israel was discovered in a 19-year-old man, who contracted it from a friend who returned from the US. He is currently hospitalized in good condition at the Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer. This is the second instance in which the disease spread to an individual who didn't leave Israel's borders.
