Secondary School Teachers Association: We will not start the school year tomorrow

The Secondary School Teachers Association announced on Monday that due to critical issues with the educational materials for this year that have not yet been resolved, they do not intend to begin the school year on Tuesday as scheduled.

The head of the association noted that, "The education minister has good intentions and he has stated in the past that he is interested in learning about the issues but unfortunately the ones who incite him are the same people in the Ministry of Education who created the problems in the first place. The Teachers Association takes this decision seriously and in recognition that there is no other option but to shock the system in order to better the future of the education system.
