Security cabinet reportedly set to convene Tuesday in light of alleged Syria strike

The security cabinet was set to convene on Tuesday afternoon in light of recent events on the Syrian side of the Golan Heights, Israel Radio reported.
The possibility of an retaliatory attack prevailed after reports surfaced Sunday of the alleged Israel Air Force strike that was sadi to have killed six Hezbollah figures and six Iranian forces in the Syrian border province of Quneitra.
Israel has not officially commented on the strike, while the IDF reiterated that it does not comment on foreign reports.
