Security forces target Gaza terror cell responsible for sniper attacks of IDF forces

IDF forces, Border Police and police on Tuesday fired on a Gaza terror cell that the military said was the source of various shooting incident toward Israeli forces over the past week.

Security forces directed sniper fire at the cell, located near the southern border of the Gaza Strip, in the operation that concluded without injury or damage to the Israeli side.

"The IDF will not tolerate attempts to harm Israeli citizens and soldiers and will continue to operation against every attempted terror attack on the State the Israel," the military said in a statement.
