ByJPOSTLEO GIOSUÈCOM STAFF, ABE SELIGA 28-year-old security guard was lightly-to-moderately wounded when stabbed by a Palestinian woman at the Kalandia checkpoint on Sunday afternoon.
The stabber, a 21-year-old from Ramallah, was arrested while still holding the knife and taken in for questioning at the Jerusalem Police Minorities Department.
A Magen David Adom team evacuated the man with a stomach wound to Jerusalem's Hadassah University Medical Center in Ein Kerem.
A paramedic who treated the injury told Israel Radio that the 5-centimeter-deep gash had been caused by a serrated knife, and that the security guard was fully conscious after the attack.
Police could not yet determine whether the stabbing was related to the Temple Mount riots.ByREUTERS06/08/2025 07:57 AMByREUTERS06/08/2025 05:36 AMByMAARIV06/07/2025 02:33 PMByWALLA!06/07/2025 11:18 AMByREUTERS06/07/2025 03:25 AM
