Police investigating after seven fall ill from drinking coffee in shuk in Kuseife

Magen David paramedics evacuated to hospital seven people who fell ill after drinking coffee at the shuk in Kuseife on Saturday morning, police said. The sick experienced symptoms of nausea and dizziness with one in moderate condition and the other six only mildly affected.

Personnel from the fire department were at the scene examining and neutralizing the material that was ingested. Ministry of Health officials were called to the site as well, and police were on hand investigating at the market in the southern Beduin town.
