KABUL - An explosion at an election rally in Afghanistan's northeast province of Takhar left several injured, Afghan officials said on Saturday. Bordering Tajikistan, Takhar province has long been a hot bed of Taliban insurgency. Afghanistan is set to hold parliamentary polls on Oct.20.
