Severe abuse uncovered in Armored Corps battalion

An Armored Corps company commander was demoted and sentenced to 30 days in prison after several of his subordinate commanders severely abused soldiers during initiation ceremonies. Sergeants and squad commanders were dismissed or sentenced to prison terms, after brutally beating soldiers and verbally abusing them during a ceremony, Israel Radio reported overnight Saturday.
