Shelly Yacimovich running for head of Histadrut

Zionist Union MK Shelly Yacimovich announced Sunday afternoon that she intends to run for the chairmanship of the Histadrut against incumbent Avi Nissenkorn in elections that are set to be held in May.
Yacimovich said she intends to bring about a revolution in an important organization and make it a powerful socio-economic spearhead that will act with courage and clean hands to help the cause of making a living with self-respect.
With the announcement, Yacimovich is expected to not run for head of the Labor Party against incumbent Isaac Herzog who defeated her for the post three years ago.
