Shooting rampage in north leaves woman dead, daughter in fatal condition

A 50-year-old man from the Jezreel Valley town of Dabburiya murdered his wife and then tried to kill his three daughters as well as himself, police told Israel Radio on Sunday.

Two of the daughters were critically wounded in the attack, while the man suffered serious injuries.

A large contingent of police has been deployed to the village and an investigation is ongoing. The shootings were said to have taken place in three separate locations in the village, according to Israel Radio.

According to the Magen David Adom rescue service, the wounded were rushed to Rambam Hospital in Haifa and Emek Medical Center in Afula.
