A Homefront Command drill is expected to take place on Wednesday in the cities of Ramle and Lod in central Israel, Israeli media reported Tuesday evening.
As part of the drill, the residents are expected to hear sirens as well as receive rocket alerts from the Homefront Command app.
Lod and Ramle were both affected by the violent riots during the clashes between Jewish and Israeli Arabs in May, during Operation Guardian of the Walls.
