As part of a Home Front Command drill on Wednesday morning, test sirens were due to be activated in the central Sharon region at 10:05 a.m.
The sirens were expected to be heard in communities in the Sharon region, including Hod Hasharon, Kfar Saba, Netanyahu, Ra'anana, Evan Yehuda, Elihin, Kochav Yair, Zur Yigal, Oranit, Kfar Yona, Pardasim, Kadima Tzoren and Tel-Mond. Sires were also due to be heard in communities in the Hefer Valley Regional Council area, including Tira, Taybe, Kalansawe, Jiljuliya, Kfar Kasm, Kfar Bara and Zmar.
