Six tons of poultry destroyed due to health violations

A poultry factory was shut down on Monday after health inspectors uncovered a number of serious health violations.
During a round of Health Ministry inspections at the Dabah poultry processing factory, in the Binyamin region of the West Bank, inspectors discovered poultry passed its expiration date, unsanitary working conditions and equipment kept in poor shape.
As a result, six tons worth of chicken were destroyed and authorities from the Mateh Binyamin Regional Council signed an order to shutter the plant.
