A 67-year-old woman was found dead in Tiberias, after an apparent stabbing, according to Magen David Adom.
Paramedics arrived on the scene, tried to resuscitate her, but were forced to pronounce her dead shortly after.
The woman's husband, who initially placed the phone call to police, has been detained for questioning.
