Snow falls in Jerusalem after days of preparation

Snow fell in Jerusalem Thursday overnight after days of preparation in the nation's capital.
At least three centimeters of snow fell by 6:00 a.m. Weather forecasters predicted at least 10 cm of snowfall.
While snow in Jerusalem is not unheard of, it is not a annual occurrence.
At the same time, the Golan Heights were frozen over with snow, as well as other mountains in the North. Light snow was also expected in the northern Negev as far south as Beersheba.
