Some 350 Falash Mura to make aliya over next two days

Some 350 Falash Mura, Ethiopians claiming Jewish ancestry, are expected to make aliya to Israel on Monday and Tuesday in two early morning flights landing at Ben Gurion International Airport.
While responsibility for bringing the remaining would-be immigrants in Ethiopia to Israel has recently been transferred to the Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI), the current flights were organized as part of the previous agreement. JAFI said on Sunday it expects to take responsibility of the Falash Mura compounds in Ethiopia in two weeks’ time.
