South Korean farmers and activists protested against a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with China on Monday (November 30), ahead of the parliament meeting to vote on its ratification. The protest came after both governing and opposition parties reached a tentative agreement to pass the free trade deal with China through parliament, which would authorise the expansion of relations with the country's biggest trading partner.A small group of activists and farmers held a news conference in front of South Korean National Assembly and chanted slogans including, "stop the South Korea-China Free Trade Agreement".
