Stabbing attack thwarted near Jenin

A Palestinian man arrested Tuesday near Jenin said he was planning to stab an IDF soldier or Border Police officer.
The plan was thwarted after being arrested by arousing the suspicion of soldiers, searching for something in his pocket and then refusing to stop approaching the soldiers, Israel Police reported.
After his arrest, officers found him to be in possession of a knife, with which he intended to carry out the attack.
He is currently undergoing further questioning.
