The state budget bill for 2021 was approved in its first reading in the Knesset plenum on Thursday night by a vote of 59 to 54.
The 2022 state budget has also passed the first reading by a 59 to 53 vote.
Finance Minister Avigdor Liberman presented the budget to the Knesset on Thursday morning.
