Steinitz: Israelis to see less gaps between rich and poor

Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz said that within a few months, Israelis will be able to see a decrease in the economic gaps between rich and poor, in an interview with Israel Radio on Tuesday.
In reaction to reports of a 4.7% growth in Israel's economy, Steinitz said growth comes from the strength of private businesses and the free market, and that the Bank of Israel and the government's long-term plans and two-year budget helped Israel overcome the economic crisis.
He added that Israel still needs to lower unemployment rates and stick to its budget.
