Strict security measures to be enforced on Temple Mount

Following clashes between rioters and police forces on the Temple Mount on Sunday, on Monday strict security measures will be enforced at the compound in order to ensure calm.
Only Muslim men aged 50 or older and carrying Israeli IDs will be allowed to pray at Al-Aksa Mosque, as well as Muslim women of all ages.
Civilian police and Border Police troops will continue to maintain presence in east Jerusalem and in the Old City.
