Supermarket chain Shupersal reports 18% drop in 2011 profit

Supermarket chain Shupersal reported an 18 percent drop in profits in 2011 on Monday.
The chain controlled by businessman Nochi Dankner reported profits of NIS 276 million in 2011, a considerable drop from the profits of NIS 335 million in 2010.
The drop in profits came despite NIS 11.6 billion in sales in 2011, a four percent rise over the previous year.
