Swedish ambassador summoned for reprimand following UNESCO vote

Sweden one of 22 countries to vote in favor of resolution disavowing Israel's sovereignty of Jerusalem

Sweden's ambassador to Israel, Carl Magnus Nesser, was summoned to the Foreign Ministry to be reprimanded following his country's vote on Tuesday in favor of a UNESCO resolution disavowing Israel's sovereignty of Jerusalem. Other countries that voted against the resolution by the UN cultural agency, that many Israeli politicians characterized as "antisemitic," include Russia, China and Brazil. Sweden was the sole European Country to vote for it.
