Swiss notified of assets linked to Mubarak regime

GENEVA  — The Swiss government said Thursday it has been notified that leading figures in Egypt's former regime have assets stashed in Switzerland.
The government last week froze "any possible assets" in the country belonging to former President Hosni Mubarak, his wife, their two sons and their wives, Mubarak's brother-in-law and five senior politicians belonging to the ousted leader's NDP party.
