Syed Farook identified as San Bernardino shooter in California killing spree

Syed Farook, an inspector with the San Bernardino Health Department, has been identified as the shooter in a California murder spree that left 14 people dead and over a dozen wounded, CNN reported Thursday.
Farook, along with an accomplice, were killed by police in a gun battle hours after the two stormed a holiday party at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, CNN added.
