Rebels fighting the regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad on Wednesday announced that they had killed a Russian general working as a consultant to the Syrian defense minister, Al-Arabiya reported.In a statement by the Freen Syrian Army, rebels said they killed Vladmir Petrovic Kojaiv, adding that this was evidence that Russia was embroiled in the ongoing Syrian conflict.
