A teacher was seriously wounded in a drive-by shooting attack in the Arab village of Jat, in the Sharon District, on Wednesday afternoon. Police said the attack was likely linked to an ongoing feud among clans from Jat and the village of Baka el-Gharbieh. The teacher, 52, had dropped off his wife, who is also a teacher, at a local school. As he walked back to his car, a gunman in a vehicle drove past, opening fire, police said. A school guard alerted paramedics, who evacuated the gunshot victim to Hadera's Hillel Yaffe Hospital.
