Tel Aviv cop indicted for negligence leading to man's death

The Police Internal Investigations Department submitted an indictment on Thursday against Boreh Ratzon for negligence leading to the death of Hazan Abu Albaad.

Ratzon, an officer from the Tel Aviv district, had arrested Albaad last year on suspicion of breaking and entering. During the arrest, the suspect was lying on the sidewalk with his hands bound behind his back when Ratzon began to dismantle his gun. A bullet escaped from the weapon and hit Albaad's back, killing him instantly.
