Tel Aviv gears up to take out the Garbage

The quartet hailing from Madison, Wisconsin of Shirley Manson, Duke Erikson, Steve Marker and Butch Vig better known as the band Garbage will be performing at Rishon Lezion Amphitheater on August 16.
The Scottish-American alternative rock band released their self-titled debut album in 1995 and rode a wave of visually arresting, female-fronted alternative rock bands. The album spawned the hit singles “Stupid Girl” and “Only Happy When It Rains.”
Their follow up album, Version 2.0, released in 1998, topped charts all over the world and garnered multiple Grammy Award nominations including Album Of The Year. Garbage followed this up by performing and co-producing the theme song to the 19th James Bond movie The World Is Not Enough.
The band went on to release two more albums: 2001’s Beautiful Garbage and 2005’s Bleed Like Me, the latter of which earned Garbage its highest chart position (No. 4) on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart.
Garbage are set to release its sixth album, Strange Little Birds, in June, ahead of its international tour.
