Tel Aviv fraud unit police launched an investigation into death threats received by former Channel 2 and future political candidate Yair Lapid. A police spokesman said Lapid filed a complaint at a Tel Aviv area police station. Ma'ariv reported that an unknown man posted a message on Lapid's Facebook warning that he would "end up like [assassinated prime minister Yitzhak] Rabin."
