Tel Aviv residents protest court decision to strike down state migrant policy

Residents of southern Tel Aviv staged a rally in the city on Saturday evening against the High Court's September 22 decision to scrap key parts of Israel's migrant policy. The court ruled to close the county's "open" detention facilities in the south and froze certain limitations on illegal migrants' movements.
Protesters blocked a junction in the Hatikva neighborhood, where the demonstration was held.
Dozens of people attended the peaceful protest, which ended "without incident," according to Israel Police.
