Tel Aviv Samsung Marathon kicks off, numerous road closures

Central Tel Aviv roads will be closed today from 6:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. due to the Tel Aviv Samsung Marathon Friday, according to Tel Aviv Police. Re-openings may happen gradually according to the pace of the runners.
The following roads and intersections will be closed:
North- Galilot Junction, Yonitzman, 2040, Levy Eshkol and Shai Agnon.
East- Traffic closed from Derech Begin to Namir west on the following streets- Bnei Efraim, Rokah Blvd., Pinkas, Arlozorov, Kaplan, Hashmonaim, Harakevet and Kikar Hamoshavot.
West- Traffic closed to all vehicles on Herbert Samuel and Kauffman along the beach.
South- Traffic closed from north to south on Jerusalem Blvd. from Ben Zvi, Elifelet from Kibbutz Galiuot, Kauffman/Hayarkon from Eilat Street, Herzl from Derech Yaffo, Alenby from Menachem Begin.
