Teva shatters predictions and posts 25% 2nd quarter profit

Teva Pharmaceuticals shattered the predictions of analysts on Tuesday, posting a second-quarter profit increase of 25 percent, which translates to $742 million.
For Teva shareholders, the news equals an 83 cent increase per share. Analysts had predicted a second-quarter finish at 80 cents a share.
The income of the company was listed as growing by 20%, and totaling $2.4 billion.
