The Federalist staff writer dies at the age of 26

Bre Payton, staff writer for the Federalist, passed away on Friday after falling into a coma at the age of 26.
When she was rushed to the hospital, barely responsive, the doctors concluded she had the H1N1 flu and possibly meningitis.
Payton was found unconscious by her friend Morgan Murtaugh, the youngest female candidate for US congress. "It is with a heavy heart that I type this. Unfortunately Bre has passed. Please send prayers to her family." Murtaugh wrote on her social media.
