Toddler in serious condition after hit-and-run accident in J'lem

An 18-month-old toddler was seriously injured after she was hit by a car in a hit-and run accident in the neighborhood of Ramot, Jerusalem on Wednesday evening.
A Magen David Adom team evacuated the girl to the Hadassah University Medical Center in Ein-Kerem. The toddler's nanny was lightly injured in the accident.
Police launched an investigation into the incident and managed to catch the driver of the car, a 19-year-old who doesn't have a driver's license.
The young man was arrested in the city's Mea She'arim neighborhood.
