Toddler injured in Syrian fighting transferred to Israel for care

A three-year-old Syrian girl who suffered shrapnel injuries to her eyes was evacuated to Ziv Medical Center in Safed on Friday night, Army Radio reported.
The IDF escorted the toddler and her mother to the hospital where she was given treatment over night.
Forty Seven injured Syrians have been transferred to Ziv since the beginning of fighting in Syria, according to the report.
