Tough draws for Israeli women at Wimbledon

Shahar Pe'er and Julia Glushko face extremely difficult tests in the first round of Wimbledon, while Dudi Sela was handed a beatable opponent in Friday's draw at the All England Club.
Pe'er, ranked No. 78 in the world, will play No. 16 seed Caroline Wozniacki in the opening round, with Glushko to come up against last year's finalist Sabine Lisicki (19). Sela (107) faces Mikhail Kukushkin (58) in the first round of the gentleman's singles.
After missing Wimbledon for the first time in a decade last year, Pe'er is hoping to record her first win at the All England Club since 2010, losing in the first round in her past two appearances in 2011 and 2012.
Pe'er, who hasn't won a Grand Slam match since the Australian Open last year, has lost five of her previous six meetings with Wozniacki, who was knocked out in the semifinals in Eastbourne on Friday.
Glushko (82) will be playing in the main draw of Wimbledon for the first time this week, but will have to record the biggest win of her career to advance to the second round. Lisicki has reached at least the quarterfinals in her past four appearances in Wimbledon, only losing to Marion Bartoli in the final last year.
